If you didn’t go to the General Convention, but are curious about this new word, Ubuntu, that figured in the General Convention news, the bookstore also carries Michael Battle’s book,
Ubuntu: I in You and You in Me. An introduction to this African spiritual principle, Ubuntu offers believers a new and radical way of reading the Gospel and understanding the heart of the Christian faith. The book includes a foreword by Desmond Tutu and an afterword by Katharine Jefferts Schori.
