The Rev. Nathan A. Rugh became Calvarys Curate in the summer of 2006. Nate was born in Bethlehem, PA in 1973. He grew up in Denver, CO and spent the majority of his life there. He received a Bachelor of Arts. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2000. He received a Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary, cum laude, in May of 2006. He was ordained to the diaconate by the Rt. Rev. Robert J. ONeill at St. Johns Cathedral in Denver, CO on June 10, 2006 and ordained to the on priesthood December 14, 2006 by Bishop ONeill at Calvary. Before ordination Nate worked at a variety of jobs. He was an assistant manager at a coffee shop, built fences, and was a baker on the night shift. He also backpacked through Europe.
Nate is married to Rebecca and they are the parents of three boys Eliot, Gavin, and Blake.
Besides spending time with his family Nate enjoys reading, hiking, chess, fly fishing, and baseball.
