Nursery
For families with infants and young children
Calvary offers child care for younger children whose parents are attending classes and/or worship. Children of any age are part of our community and we welcome them as full participants in our common life. We encourage families to worship together, and to feel free to come and go during the service to meet children’s needs. The nursery is provided to help meet the needs of parents and children. The nursery is available for children under the age of three during the 9 a.m. service and the Christian Education hour, and up to the age 6 during the 11 a.m. service. We are staffed by experienced adults and have a pager system that will notify you if you need to return to the nursery.

Living the Good News!
That first crocus reaching out toward an icy sky offers a small icon of this formative season of Lent/ Easter. The crocus seems ready to risk winter’s waning wrath, willing to signal spring no matter the cost. It must struggle through frozen soil, push past the snow-quilt above and bloom through winter. All the world accepts its tiny proclamation; all the world acknowledges its wisdom, its certainty, its hope.
Infused with the messages of the scriptures for Spring in Year C, we too labor though Lent in hope, declaring to all the world that we see a new life ahead. It may look foolhardy in the face of the harsh realities of our life, but one day all the world will proclaim the truth of the vision we have been given.
For young people – Sixth through Twelfth grade
Calvary Church joins many parishes in the Episcopal Church in using the Journey to Adulthood (J2A) program of spiritual formation for young people. This program incorporates Bible study, prayer, rites of passage, outreach ministry, and both serious and playful activities.
Sunday morning classes, along with Sunday afternoon youth group, make up the J2A program at Calvary.
